HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — A truck driver accused of plowing into a Harnett County restaurant is now facing a civil lawsuit.
Troopers say David Brachear was speeding and not paying attention when he slammed his truck into Peggy's restaurant last summer.
The families of a man who was killed and two people who were injured filed lawsuits.
The families demand a trial by jury and damages in excess of $10,000.
