JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. — Traffic is moving at the site of an early-morning tractor-trailer wreck in Johnston County.
At about 5:45 a.m., a tractor-trailer traveling from northbound Interstate 95 on to westbound Interstate 40 overturned and lost its load of steel beams, blocking the exit ramp.
The tractor-trailer was uprighted and towed just after 7:30 a.m. Crews worked to clear the beams from the road and spread sand to soak up any diesel fuel that may have leaked onto the roadway.
No one was injured.
