RALEIGH, N.C. — Police are investigating a deadly accident in north Raleigh Monday night.
The three-car crash happened at Falls of Neuse Road and Pacific at about 7:30 p.m.
Police said Steve Cummings, of St. Albans, W.Va., ran a red light and sideswiped a car that hit a third vehicle.
The woman driving the sideswiped car died. She is identified as 48-year-old Jacqueline Puryear Rose.
Cummings was charged with DWI and felony death by vehicle.
Cummings and another person were treated for minor injuries at WakeMed.
