Boy Injured In Raleigh Apartment Fire

RALEIGH, N.C. — Two families lost their apartments to fire early Thursday morning.

Fire crews quickly put out the blaze at the Bryn Athyn apartment complex near Six Forks Road in Raleigh.

The fire started just before 5 a.m. in an upper unit where six people lived. A couple lived in the apartment below that has smoke and water damage.

An 8-year-old boy was treated for minor burns.

Apartment managers are finding other units for the families.
