N.C. Guardsmen Back At Fort Bragg

FORT BRAGG, N.C. — Troops with the 30th Heavy Separate Brigade are back in Fort Bragg in the arms of their loved ones.

The Brigade is returning one group at a time. Many of them are reuniting with their families for the first time in nearly a year.

Almost all of the soldiers in the unit plan to be back home by Jan. 10.

Some volunteered to stay overseas longer. Five were killed in action.
