FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — At one point, Fayetteville's "
bike man
" was going to give up because burglars kept breaking into his warehouse. Luckily, he did not, and kids are thankful for it.
For the 10th year in a row, Moses Mathis gave away bicycles to children. He spends the year getting donations and fixing the bikes.
Around Christmas, he opens his doors and children pick out what they want.
This year, he handed out more than 500 bikes.
