DURHAM, N.C. — Accused murderer Robert Petrick will go to trial on fraud charges in the spring.
On Tuesday, attorneys set a trial date for March 21. Petrick is accused of fraud and writing bad checks, but he also faces first-degree murder charges in the death of his wife Janine Sutphen.
Her body was found in Falls Lake last spring.
His murder trial will likely start in late summer of next year.
