Two years ago, Rebekah Revels won the Miss North Carolina crown and was Miss America bound. Then, an ex-boyfriend said he had topless photos of her. She gave up the title and fought unsuccessfully to get it back. Now, she said she is not worried about the past and is looking forward to the future.

"Oh yeah, I think about it, not every day, but it's a big part of my life. It's always going to be there. It's always in the back of my head," Revels said.

These days, Revels' mind is on other things like her new job. Revels does public relations work for the Lumbee tribe in Robeson County.

Revels is also working on her other passion. Revels, who enjoys show tunes, writes and sings her own music. She said she has started a new life.

"You just roll with the punches I guess. It made me have thick skin. I'm tough now I guess," Revels said.

Revels' lawsuit against the Miss North Carolina pageant was thrown out recently. She said her lawyer is working on an appeal.
