RALEIGH, N.C. — Authorities are looking for a person who led them on a chase on Interstate 85.
The Durham Police Department stopped a car and was apparently taking the driver into custody when the car's passenger drove off.
The person led police in a chase up I-85, then turned onto a dirt service road.
The person reportedly got out of the car and ran away. Authorities are using dogs to search the area near mile marker 191 near Butner.
There is no word why authorities stopped the vehicle.
