RALEIGH, N.C. — Investigators say speed was a factor in a weekend accident that killed a Raleigh high school student.
Jaimee Kellermann, a freshman at Wakefield High School and a member of the varsity cheerleading squad, was killed in a crash near Richmond where she was visiting friends.
Kellermann moved to North Carolina from Virginia.
Charges are pending against the driver.
