Election Workers Waiting To Get Paid

RALEIGH, N.C. — Some people who worked at early-voting sites are still waiting to get paid.

Wake County leaders say there was some confusion about how many hours 120 people worked.

Officials say the mistake has been corrected, and the checks should be in the mail by Thursday.

The mistake only affected workers during early voting, not those who worked on Election Day.
