RALEIGH, N.C. — A self-proclaimed Raleigh minister was sentenced to more than 11 years in prison for molesting seven young girls.
Kenneth Dixon pleaded guilty last month to seven counts of indecent liberties with a minor -- one count for each victim.
In exchange, Wake Assistant District Attorney Susan Spurlin agreed to dismiss the related sexual-offense charges, which were higher-level felonies.
That deal allowed Dixon to avoid more prison time.
