Two Found Guilty In Moore County Church Vandalism

print friendly

Two men were sentenced to four years of probation for their roles in church vandalism in Moore County.

Justin Samples and Wayne Sands were found guilty of misdemeanor breaking and entering and injury to real property. Each was sentenced to 48 months of probation and community service.

The convictions of Sample and Sands bring this case to a close because five other men charged in the case have already reached plea deals.

Seven young people were charged with destroying property at the Free Liberty United Christian Church in the Addor community of Moore County last year.

The vandals painted swastikas around the church, smashed windows and trashed furniture.
