Power Restored In Southeast Raleigh After Tree Falls On Lines

RALEIGH, N.C. — Power was knocked out for more than 2,500 Progress Energy customers in southeast Raleigh Thursday morning.

A tree fell on three power lines in the Poole Road and Sunnybrook Road area at 9:38 a.m.

The outage, which lasted only 11 minutes, affected 2,600 customers.
