JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. — A Johnston County business was damaged after a run-in with a sports utility vehicle.
A Ford Expedition slammed into Joe's Upholstery in Smithfield just before noon Tuesday.
No one inside the business was hurt, but the driver was taken to the hospital.
City inspectors condemned the building because it was so badly damaged. Two cars outside the business were also hit by the SUV.
There is no word on what caused the crash.
