Deputies arrested a man who was hiding inside a Raeford home where his ex-girlfriend and another man were shot multiple times early Saturday, authorities said.

Shawn Christopher McKoy, 33, of 711 N. Jackson St., was charged with two counts of first-degree murder. He is being held in the Hoke County jail without bond.

Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to 181 Beltons Loop following a 911 call about a disturbance at the home. When they arrived, they found the back door ajar and Travis Blue lying in the hallway with multiple gunshot wounds, Sheriff Hubert Peterkin said.

Blue was alive but barely breathing, deputies said. He was taken to the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Hiding in a darkened area near the master bedroom, deputies found McKoy, who was taken into custody.

Inside the master bathroom, deputies found Larene Astrid Torrens, who had also been shot multiple times. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 9mm handgun recovered from the scene is believed to be the murder weapon, Peterkin said.

No other information was released.
