JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. — Highway Patrol troopers expect to file charges against a woman involved in a weekend motorcycle crash.
The wreck happened at the intersection of Buffalo and Covered Bridge roads near Clayton.
Officials say the car hit the motorcycle, throwing the rider 20 feet. He suffered a severe head injury.
The driver of the car suffered minor injuries.
