RALEIGH, N.C. — A new, mixed use development is planned for the growing Glenwood South area.
A building on the 200 block of Glenwood Avenue will be torn down to make way for shops, restaurants and condos.
The new owners plan to build a nine story, 120,000 square foot building in its place.
The building will be located just a block from Hillsborough Street and will be called 222 Glenwood.
Construction is set to begin by the end of next year.
