CARY, N.C. — Motorists should expect traffic delays Thursday afternoon and evening in the Preston Corners area of Cary.
Crews with the town's public works and utilities department will repair a 12-inch water line that was cut late Wednesday by a contractor working on the Cary's traffic signal system project.
Southbound Cary Parkway and westbound High House Road around the Preston Corners intersection have been reduced to one lane.
Because several businesses in the area are without water service while the repairs are taking place, residents are encouraged to call ahead before visiting banks, restaurants, and other stores in this immediate vicinity Thursday and Thursday night.
