Raleigh, N.C. — The Raleigh City Council unanimously voted Tuesday to adopt a study that outlines plans to revitalize and redevelop a stretch of Capital Boulevard from Interstate 440 to downtown.
The Capital Boulevard Corridor Study outlines recommendations for transforming the city's most traveled gateway into downtown into what the city calls a "showcase for multi-modal transportation and green infrastructure."
The overall focus of the study is on transportation, water quality, flood mitigation, park and greenway infrastructure and land use.
