Commission OKs Grant To Move Global Business Center To RTP

RALEIGH, N.C. — A new tenant in Research Triangle Park will get local help in exchange for new jobs.

The Wake County Commission agreed to pay a grant of $2.25 million to Credit Suisse First Boston.

The company plans to put a global business center on Wake County land in RTP.

Grant money will be spread out over eight years, starting in 2008.

Credit Suisse plans to create 400 new jobs paying an average salary of $72,000 a year.
