Warrant Issued For Woman Accused Of Animal Cruelty

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — There is an arrest warrant issued for a Raleigh woman accused of letting her pet starve to death.

An officer said the woman left three kittens in a bird cage on her porch for several days with no food or water.

One of the kittens died, and a neighbor later called animal control.

Tiana Miller is charged with cruelty to animals. She told investigators her child was allergic to the kittens and that she thought a friend was picking them up.

Animal control is looking into the case.
