Plane Makes Emergency Landing At RDU

MORRISVILLE, N.C. — A plane with 114 people on board made an emergency landing at

Raleigh-Durham International Airport

Friday morning.

The AirTran flight from Orlando, Fla. to Philadephia was diverted to Raleigh, where it landed safely at 10:45 a.m. after the flight crew noticed an electrical odor inside the aircraft.

Mechanics are working on the aircraft. The cause of the problem is not known.
