Judge Reduces Bond For Teen Charged In Connection With Wilson Murder

Posted Updated

WILSON, N.C. — A Wilson teenager charged in connection with murder is out on bond.

This week, a judge reduced Julian Deans' bond from $1 million to $60,000.

The 19-year-old is required to live with family in Wake County until his trial.

Deans is accused of helping two other suspects with an alibi in the death of 17-year-old Brittany Willis. He is charged with accessory after the fact of murder.

Detectives said James Johnson and Kenneth Meeks kidnapped, raped and killed Willis in June.
