RALEIGH, N.C. — Police in Raleigh are investigating a deadly traffic accident that took place just after 5:30 a.m. Tuesday on Capitol Boulevard near Peace Street.
Investigators say an unidentified white male was crossing Capitol Boulevard when he was hit by a GMC Jimmy. The victim died shortly after.
Authorities closed several lanes while they cleared the scene. All lanes have reopened.
No charges have been filed.
