Sanford, N.C. — A Goldston woman died Monday morning in a one-car crash near Sanford, the state highway patrol said.
Elizabeth Hash, 27, was driving the Honda Accord that went off Highway 42 west of Sanford and struck a tree, troopers said.
Her 6-year-old son, who was with her in the car, sustained minor injuries, they said.
The accident happened about 6:15 a.m.
