Straight Party Ticket In N.C. Does Not Include Presidential Vote

RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina is one of only two states (South Carolina), where a straight party ticket does not include the race for president.

Voters need to choose that candidate separately.

This year for the first time, judicial races are non-partisan, so they are listed separately as well.

If you have any questions, you are asked to contact your precinct official.
