print friendly

A self-proclaimed minister charged with molesting children in a pool reached a plea deal Monday on various sex offenses involving children.

Kenneth Dixon pleaded guilty to seven counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor. As part of the plea, more serious rape charges were dropped.

Police say he inappropriately touched several girls at the Pullen Park Aquatic Center.

Dixon will be sentenced next month.

Dixon was charged with several counts of taking indecent liberties with children. The original charges involved eight victims.

Investigators say he used a church van to take the children from their Walnut Terrace Neighborhood to the Pullen Park Aquatic Center, where the abuse happened.
