Johnston County Manager Calls For Water Conservation

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Starting Monday, the Johnston County Manager is asking businesses to conserve water.

The call for conservation comes as the Smithfield water treatment plant will be offline for repairs until mid-December.

The county usually buys 600,000 gallons a day from Smithfield.

Johnston County will buy water from Dunn and Harnett County until repairs are finished.
