WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — A Wake County man accused of trying to kill his wife is in jail.
On Tuesday, Wake County sheriff's deputies arrested 49-year-old Juan Barcenas Marban.
Investigators believe Marban kidnapped Sarai Valdez in September and drove her to a rural area where he shot her while she was sitting in her pick-up truck.
Marban faces a host of charges, including attempted murder and first-degree kidnapping.
