Raleigh Pedestrian Bridge Will Not Be Complete Until 2005

RALEIGH, N.C. — A bicycle/pedestrian bridge over the Beltline near Wade Avenue will not be finished until March 2005.

The $2.5 million project was scheduled to be complete next month.

Rising steel costs are blamed for the delay. The bridge will tie into Raleigh's greenway system.
