RALEIGH, N.C. — A worker was injured in an accident Tuesday near Dorton Arena.
Officials say a steel beam fell more than 20 feet and hit the worker as he was taking apart a ride from the State Fair.
The worker was apparently conscious when emergency workers arrived. He was taken to WakeMed.
There is no word on his name or condition.
