RALEIGH, N.C. — A Durham man is charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter in a wreck that killed his wife and her son on Saturday night.

A state Highway Patrol trooper pulled Anderson Hazelwood over. Officials said Hazelwood taunted the trooper, then sped off.

A chase topped speeds of 100 mph before Hazelwood crashed on Leesville Road.

Shavonda Commissiong, 26, and her son, Jalien, 5, died at the scene.

Investigators said Hazelwood did not have a driver's license and there was marijuana in the car.

Other charges are pending.
