SANFORD, N.C. — A long-running feud between neighbors ended Sunday with a murder near a church.
Sanford police arrested Horace Dawson for the shooting death of his neighbor, Richard Lee Rab.
The shooting happened near St. Luke UMC Church shortly before 8 a.m. Sunday.
A police captain said the two men had had an ongoing fight.
