WILSON, N.C. — Police in Wilson have arrested two fast-food employees accused of stealing thousands of dollars from a customer.
Shahkeya Gamble, 18, and Katrice Williamson, 22, are each charged with felony larceny.
Investigators say when a customer accidentally left her purse at a Wendy's restaurant, the workers went through it and took $4,800.
Police found the cash hidden in several areas around the restaurant. They expect to charge at least one more employee in the case.
