RALEIGH, N.C. — Two people are dead following a wreck on Lake Wheeler Road in Raleigh Friday night.
Police said the driver of a car crossed the center line and was T-boned by another car around 9:45 p.m. They said the driver, Abdul Williamson, was driving at least 85 mph.
Williamson and his 15-year-old passenger, Reuben Webster, were killed.
The driver and passenger in the other car were taken to WakeMed for treatment.
A small section of Lake Wheeler Road was shut down while police cleared the scene.
