DURHAM, N.C. — One of the Triangle's most infamous homes is getting a major makeover.
Mike Peterson's former mansion is being renovated. Work has already started on the outside of the house.
The Cedar Street house sold back in July for $640,000. The original asking price was double that amount.
Peterson was convicted of the December 2001 death of his wife, Kathleen, who was found dead in the stairwell of the house.
