RALEIGH, N.C. — Orange County is on a rabies alert after a skunk tested positive after attacking a pup.
Animal control says it is crucial to contact them within 24 hours of exposure to an infected animal.
Officials will be sponsoring the last rabies clinic of the year on Oct. 21st from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
It will be held at the courthouse parking lot in Hillsborough and at the Northern Human Services Center on Highway 86 North.
