RALEIGH, N.C. — A nine-car pileup near Wake Tech sent one woman to the hospital and jammed up the morning commute.
The wreck happened just after 8 a.m. along Highway 401 South. The chain-reaction crash left wreckage near the main entrance to the college.
Officials said a light rainfall may have contributed to the crash.
The injuries to the driver were described as non-life-threatening.
