RALEIGH, N.C. — A hometown guy hits the jackpot in Hollywood.
Spencer Jennings, an employee of Capitol Broadcasting, took a trip to California and landed on contestants' row on "The Price is Right."
After winning his way on stage, he played the "Hole-In-One" game, winning a minivan on the second try.
For several years, Jenkins portrayed "
Man" on WRAL. His character was so popular he even had time set aside at fair booths.
Jenkins voluntarily returned the prizes since he works at a CBS-affiliate.
