People magazine plans to feature the case of Michelle Young's murder in the issue coming out Friday.

Young, 29, was found beaten to death in her Wake County home Nov. 3. She was pregnant at the time of her death, and her 2-year-old daughter was found unharmed by her side.

Authorities haven't made an arrest in the case.

People has made the murder mystery its cover story for its next issue, with the headline "Murder on a Quiet Street." The four-page spread includes photos of Young with her family, the Young house on Birchleaf Drive, and her mother, Linda Fisher, pleading for public help to solve the case.

Jason Young, who said he was out of town on a business trip when his wife was killed, hasn't been named as a suspect in the case, but authorities have focused their attention on him.

Investigators said Jason Young was having a relationship with another woman and did not cooperate with authorities.

I think the police are patiently putting an air-tight case together before they pounce on Jason Young. There's no doubt in my mind that this time next year will be watching this creeps trial on court t.v. Look at Scott Peterson; it seemed like the police were at a stand still for the longest time when in fact they were using Amber Frey to help gather more and more evidence and it was her testimony that sealed the lid for him. Jason Young may think that he's slithering ahead, but they'll get him.

If Jason(the hisband) is innocent then why wouldn't he cooperate with the police? You'd think he would want to help find the person who murdered his wife...if he was innocent. Police found blood in his SUV there's another guilty factor. He was also having an affair, which in most cases where the husband murders his wife it's because he's having an affair and wants to be the mysterious. And the daughter wasn't harmed meaning obviously the murderer felt compassion for the child, who other would feel that way but the father. Police don't ever put 2 and 2 together though. Look at the Jon Benet Ramsey case, years later and it's still unsolved. The husband in this case is guilty.

Jason seems guilty and has since day one. Why don't these men just get a divorce? That poor girl.

Who killed Michelle???? Jason and/or his lover need to look in the mirror. I say both of them did it.

I view this as a "rage" killing. Similar to the Kathleen Peterson case in Durham.
