People Magazine to Feature Case of Slain Mother
Raleigh, N.C. — People magazine plans to feature the case of Michelle Young's murder in the issue coming out Friday.
Young, 29, was found beaten to death in her Wake County home Nov. 3. She was pregnant at the time of her death, and her 2-year-old daughter was found unharmed by her side.
Authorities haven't made an arrest in the case.
People has made the murder mystery its cover story for its next issue, with the headline "Murder on a Quiet Street." The four-page spread includes photos of Young with her family, the Young house on Birchleaf Drive, and her mother, Linda Fisher, pleading for public help to solve the case.
Jason Young, who said he was out of town on a business trip when his wife was killed, hasn't been named as a suspect in the case, but authorities have focused their attention on him.
Investigators said Jason Young was having a relationship with another woman and did not cooperate with authorities.
