FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Authorities have issued murder warrants in the death of a Fayetteville man.
Ricky Lynn Shafer's body was discovered in a wooded area near 222 North Water Street on Sept. 13, 2004.
Fayetteville police detectives have charged 48-year-old Lee Daniel Godwin Jr. and 39-year-old Judith Gladys Deloach in connection with Shafer's murder.
Deloach surrendered to authorities on Friday. Godwin was arrested at his home Wednesday.
