RALEIGH, N.C. — A construction worker died Thursday after he was struck by a dump truck.
Authorities say the accident happened at 10:55 a.m. on Duraleigh Road in Raleigh. They said Christopher Bullock was a spotter behind a dump truck and instructed the driver of the dump truck to back up.
When the dump truck backed up, Bullock was hit and pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is under way to determine what went wrong to cause the accident. No charges have been filed.
