DURHAM, N.C. — A major player in the pharmaceutical industry got the thumbs-up from Durham County commissioners.
On Monday, they approved a site plan for the $300 million Merck vaccine manufacturing plant.
The facility will be located in Treyburn Corporate Park.
The company will bring 200 jobs to the Triangle. It should be fully operational by 2009.
