Foul Play Suspected After Body Found In Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police suspect foul play in the death of a man whose body was found Monday.

The victim was found in a wooded area near North Water Street. Police say he had multiple stab wounds and had been hit with a blunt object.

Investigators believe the man was killed overnight. His name has not been released.

So far, there have been no arrests.
