RALEIGH, N.C. — Organizers of the Fesitval of Flight may have to default on a debt of nearly $168,000, which means 10 vendors would not get paid.
The debt was much higher, but fund-raising efforts have helped.
The Tourism and Development Authority spent almost $38,000 to pay local vendors. Private donations provided another $26,000.
