HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — Testing of the water system in several areas of Hillsborough over the weekend showed that the water is safe for human consumption.
A boil-water advisory was issued Friday afternoon after the possibility of contamination due to a loss of pressure in the water system during utility work on Orange Grove Road.
