DURHAM, N.C. — Duke University has scheduled a week of events to celebrate its new president's inauguration.
Richard Brodhead will be officially sworn into office Saturday.
The former Yale dean and English professor says he hopes to make Duke more affordable for more people and continue Duke's academic tradition.
Brodhead takes over for Nan Keohane, who stepped down after 11 years as president.
