Rolesville Customers Urged To Boil Water Following Main Break

Posted Updated

ROLESVILLE, N.C. — The water is flowing again in the town of Rolesville, but a boil-water advisory has been issued as a precaution.

About 617 customers were without water early Monday after a 6-inch water main break was reported on the 100 block of Bowling Drive around 5:30 a.m.

Water was restored a few hours later; however, the cause of the break is not yet known.

Test results for possible contamination are expected by Tuesday afternoon.

The City of Raleigh owns and maintains the town's water supply.
