RALEIGH, N.C. — A man accused of damaging his boss' car faces charges.
Police say Warren Terrell scraped a key across his supervisor's car after getting fired from BJ's Warehouse in Brier Creek.
The crime might have gone unnoticed, but Raleigh Police Chief Jane Perlov was sitting in the next car over. She called in the incident and police arrested Terrell a short time later.
Perlov is back to fighting crime full-time after undergoing breast cancer surgery last month. She returned last week, but Tuesday was her first full day.
Perlov continues to undergo treatment for cancer.
